Palo Alto Networks™, the leader in next-generation firewalls, today announced that it has been selected to present at Interop New York 2009, being held Nov.16 – 20 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. The company is also exhibiting at the event, in booth number 722.

Nir Zuk, security industry expert and Palo Alto Networks co-founder and CTO, will present "What's Wrong with the WAN Firewall?" in the Networking Track on Nov. 20 at 10:15 am. Attendees will learn of the limitations of the traditional WAN firewall and identify what functionality firewalls need to implement to overcome these limitations.

Mr. Zuk is considered an industry authority in network security throughout the world. Prior to co-founding Palo Alto Networks, Mr. Zuk was CTO at NetScreen Technologies, which was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2004. Prior to NetScreen, Mr. Zuk was co-founder and CTO at OneSecure, a pioneer in intrusion prevention and detection appliances. Mr. Zuk was also a principal engineer at Check Point Software Technologies and was one of the developers of stateful inspection technology.
